Position : Systems Support Officer
Job Description:
The
Systems Support Officer is the administrator of the Point of Sales(CSS)
System and Routing and Scheduling(Roadshow) system. The System Support
Officer will work closely
with the Sales department to optimize the route to market for the sales
team. The role will report to the Systems Support Manager.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot & maintain handheld systems, printers, and other sales system hardwares.
Support IT operations and activities associated with sales automation system.
Resolve techno-functional issues.
Perform hands-on fixes including installing and upgrading software/hardware and configuring systems.
Ensures users are provided professional and timely IT support and service.
Create, edit customers on various systems and manage their credit terms and limits.
Optimizing routes to market using the routing and scheduling system.
Journey plan creation on the POS system.
Work
closely with the sales team to ensure that all new outlets and
customers are available in all applications in the shortest possible
time.
Work
closely with other members of the Systems Support Department to ensure
that Van operations and Merchandisers have their journey plans updated.
Periodic reporting including sales, coverage and productivity and other reports.
Work closely with Logistics and Customer service teams to ensure sales data is interfaced with SAP.
Work closely with Logistics team on Planned Delivery System.
Coordinate with service providers to trouble shoot issues, replace faulty units etc.
Organize and provide trainings to all users of the Sales Systems.
Requirements:
University degree in the field of Computers Science or related field.
Technically competent in Windows platform, DBMS and SQL queries, hardware and LAN environment.
2 to 3 year work experience in managing and troubleshooting applications and hand held computer systems.
Preferable
having good technical knowledge of different applications like SAP,
Fleet Management System, Sales Support System and its support.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with and an exceptional customer service orientation.
Highly self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail.
