Job Description:

Develops specifications for moderately complex software programming applications and modifies/maintains the existing software. Develops, modifies and maintains applications that may be customized or standardized. Participates in design and coding activities with other staff members.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Designs/codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools.

2. Maintains and modifies existing applications on their own as well as under direction from senior staff members.

3. Performs maintenance programming for existing version. Performs custom programming at customer request

4. Assumes responsibility for ongoing data architecture for product

5. Other duties as assigned

· Analyze Module requirements and Coordination with end users
· Analyze information, determine, recommend and plan of a new Module or modification of an existing Module
· Gather facts and figures to Analyze, from end users.
· Design Modules on international standard process using (ERD’s, DFD’s).
· Develop Modules on latest Oracle Developers Tools.
· Maintain Graphical User Interface (GUI) Standards of Module
Programming and coding maintenance reusability concepts
· Plan software programming and development of documentation.
Determining efficient coding processes and procedures
· Develop software system testing and validation procedures.
· Consult with end users, other departments on project status, proposals and technical issues.
· Coordinate installation of Oracle Clients with Network & Support team.
Implementing it in various programs for testing
Provide Quick Help Desk Support via Intercommunication and E-Mails
Diagnosing bugs and software problems
Maintain documentation of any structural changes
Procedures and Function Optimizations
Skills Required:

Good Communication Skills

Oracle Developer 6i or above

Oracle Reports 6i or above

Oracle PL/SQL

Candidates with hands on experience in 10g and Oracle Application Server will be preferred.
