Job Summary
Responsible for ongoing development, providing support to our web
portals and should be detail oriented and enjoy thriving in a fast
paced atmosphere. He/she should have experience in the complete
development lifecycle and will participate in solution design, and
concept visualization.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Plan, design, develop, debug, implement and support web-based
applications and services.
* Modify existing software to: correct errors, allow it to
function in new operating environments, or improve performance.
* Suggest & implement best practices and techniques
* Adheres to and recommends improvements to project coding
standards.
* Ability to work in a team environment with shared code;
disciplined use of source code control.
Skills Required:
* Strong object oriented design skills
* Strong oral and written communications skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Professional demeanor, ability to take instructions
* Ability to participate in multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members
* Initiative to work independently, but also ability to accept
and follow instructions
* Proficiency in integrated development environments
Experience
* Visual Studio .NET
* ASP.NET 2.0/4.0
* C#
* MVC 3.0
* jQuery
* AJAX
* HTML
* Javascript
* style sheets / css
* Stored procedures (SQL 2005/2008)
Eligiblity:
* 1+ years of relevant professional work experience.
* Computer Science degree.
* 1+ years of object oriented programming experience
* Thorough knowledge in relational database design and
development.
