IT Technician - Qatar District Cooling Company - Doha

Provide a single point of contact for end-users to receive technical and help desk support on technical issues, systems, basic office applications and networks.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Provide IT technical support to all internal users on problems related to hardware and software.
Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, networks, workstations, printers, fax machines, and other related equipment, devices, and systems.
Install basic software and hardware for computer and information systems to meet company's requirements.
Maintain an up to date companywide hardware and software inventory
Carry out the hardware repairs, maintenance, technical assistance, and support on a wide range of computers/laptops and peripherals.
Analyze and resolve problems on standard computer applications and systems and report issues to the IT Manager.
Interact with users to understand their requirements and take necessary steps to assist them in addressing those requirements within the acceptable established IT policies & procedures
Assist the transition from old to new computer systems through appropriate training and hand holding support to all concerned.
Support the networking requirements as per Qatar Cool’s standards.
Perform any other duty as assigned by the IT Engineer.

Qualifications:
Professional Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology with relevant additional certification

Experience:
Above 2 years of relevant experience.

Job-Specific Skills:
Experience in working for a help desk/technical support function within a similar sized organization
Up to date IT and help desk skills
Good interpersonal and customer care skills
