Provide
database support to IT projects. Work with programmers to tune SQL,
PL/SQL & Oracle queries if needed. Configure, optimize, and support
Oracle or other relational databases. Work with users to identify and
develop system requirements taking into account desired results,
hardware limitations and operating requirements. Implement database
upgrades, backups and restores.

| Skills Required: |
| Experience with very large databases and/or data warehousing. Expert knowledge of SQL. Experience of creating and implementing physical databases from Logical Data Models. Some experience as an Oracle DBA. Must be familiar with current version of Oracle (general database knowledge/experience), Advanced SQL and PL/SQL, Application development experience in an Oracle environment, Data Modeling/Relational Database Design. Oracle Designer and Oracle DBA is preferable. Experience with data management, versioning of data, backups, etc. Database optimization experience with Oracle DBMS and experience using database-monitoring tools. Experience in High Uptime Architecture(Data Guard, Diaster Recover Plan, Master/Slave Configurations) and Scalability(Clusters). Strong interpersonal skills to resolve problems in a professional manner and lead working groups |
