2 senior Java Dev 6 months contract- Pakistani nationals Preferred-
Sal 11000 AED
• At least 5 years of experience in developing applications
using Java EE technologies
• Successfully participated in several large, complex projects
with team size not less than 10 developers through full software
development lifecycle
• Must have knowledge & experience in the following
technologies:
o Web presentation frameworks, specifically Java Server Faces (JSF)
o Hibernate ORM framework
o Spring IoC container
o Any of the leading AOP frameworks such as AspectJ, AspectWerkz or
Spring AOP
o Web services frameworks, such as Apace CXF, Apache Axis2, JAX-WS
RI or Spring WS
o JUnit for unit testing
o Build tools (Ant or Maven)
o Java reporting engines such as Jasper reports
o Any of the following IDEs: Eclipse, Net Beans or IntelliJ Idea
o AJAX / Web 2.0
o OOP and Design Patterns
• It is preferred to have the following technical skills:
o Packaging and deploying enterprise Java applications to any of
the leading commercial or open-source application servers
o Exposure to building applications for handheld devices
o IBM AS400/DB2 knowledge
o Applications integration experience using any of the ESB or MoM
products
o Experience working in an environment following agile methods and
practices
Also, the successful candidate should possess the following soft
skills:
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and,
strongly preferred, in Arabic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, sometimes
stressful environment, and deliver production quality software within
planned schedules
• Self motivated, good self learner and problem solver
